Singapore interested in investing in MP

Bhopal, Feb 24 (UNI) Singapore industrialists are keen on investing in Madhya Pradesh, especially in Information Technology (IT) sector and alcohol plants, official sources said today.

Singapore-based Egnathan Vijay Kumar met Commerce and Industries Minister Babulal Gaur yesterday to discuss the scope for capital investment.

He apprised Mr Gaur that several industrialists from Singapore were willing to invest in IT sector and alcohol plants in the state.

Welcoming the offer, Mr Gaur assured that all possible assistance will be provided to Singapore industrialists.

The minister asked Mr Kumar to come up with a strong proposal in consultation with other industrialists in his country so that a decision can be taken.
