Silver, gold open firm on overseas advice

Mumbai, Feb 22 (UNI) Gold and silver today opened higher on bullish advice from global markets and thin demand, traders at the bullion market here said.

Following were the rates: Silver (per kg).999 fineness grade : Rs 13,465, Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint: : Rs 8,030, Gold 99.9 purity variety : Rs 8,065 UNI AR RSY AW1252
