Kolkata, Feb 24 (UNI) Hyderabad-based Global Hospitals rpt Global Hospitals will set up an organ transplant hospital in New Town, Rajarhat with a Rs 175 crore investment.

The 750-bed hospital will also have an organ transplant training institute, hotel, malls and guest houses under one roof, Global Hospitals Managing Director Dr K Ravindranath told reporters.

Already five acres of land had been allotted by the government for setting up the hospital, he said, adding construction would begin from July this year.

Global Hospitals has also plans to set up hospitals at Bangalore, Delhi, and Mumbai.

Dr Ravindranath today started a telemedicine-cum-information centre for the Kolkata centre. The centre enables Kolkata patients to access Global Hospitals experts over phone and person.
