Revamped India to take on Pak today
Lahore, Feb 24 (UNI) With the series already out of their grip, captain Ignace Tirkey has promised a revamped Indian team with as many as six changes for the fifth game of the six-match hockey series' second leg against Pakistan later today.
''We will field six new players to ensure coordination in the team in addition to strengthening our forward line to make aggressive moves,'' he said in a press conference here.
Tirkey said his side's disappointing show in the series was due to the poor performance of the forward line which missed several scoring chances and allowed the hosts to dominate the proceedings.
However, the Indian skipper asserted that all was not lost and his side could still make a comeback to win the next two matches.
''We will try our best to win the remaining matches,'' he said.
