Rajkot to get forensic science laboratory

Rajkot, Feb 22 (UNI) This central city of Gujarat's Saurashtra region will get soon an ultra-modern forensic science laboratory.

The laboratory will be helpful to provide a scientific analytical service in investigating crime. The State Government has allotted 5000 sq metre land at the University Road here for the purpose, an official press release said here today.

Fundamental planning for construction has been completed and the building work would soon start after getting the soil report.

Presently, Junagadh city has such a laboratory, the release added.
