Rail budget disappointing says HP BJP
Shimla, Feb 24 (UNI) Former Himachal Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal today described the rail budget as 'disappointing' for the state as it had been completely ignored in the railway expansion plans.
Noting that even the announcements made by the Prime Mnister had not been honoured, he asked the Virbhadra Singh government to take up the issue with the centre.
The state BJP President Suresh Bharadwaj alleged that the Railway Minister had shown favour to his home state of Bihar while Himachal had been totally negelected.
He said that out 55 new trains 15 trains were headed for Bihar while 40 trains would be introduced in the states going to polls this year.
