Punjab announces 32-member team for Federation Cup

Chandigarh, Feb 23 (UNI) Punjab Amateur Athletic Association, secretary general Isher Singh Deol today announced a strong 32-member team, including three officials, that will participate in the 12th Federation Cup National Athletic Championship to be held in New Delhi from February 28 to March 3.

The Indian team will be selected on basis of the players performance in New Delhi. The selected athletes will don the India colour in the Commonwealth Games to be held in Melbourne from March 15.

The Team: Vishal Pathak, Sandeep Kumar, Jaisal Preet Singh, Harpreet Singh, Satnam Singh, Sukhveer Singh, Vijay Kumar, Maha Singh, Amarjit Singh, Samsher Singh, Gurdev Singh, Amindeep Singh, Simranjit Singh Bhatia, Gursharan Singh, Ajitpal Singh, Jagwinder Singh, Palwinder Singh, Avtar Singh, Pargat Singh, Malkiat Singh, Jagdev Singh, Satveer Singh, Zadveer Singh, Sukhdev Singh, Rupinder Kaur, Harpreet Singh, Gurvinder Kaur, Tejinder Kaur and Jyoti.
