Polish team studies cooperative banking in Mysore
Mysore, Feb 23 (UNI) As many as ten delegates from the International Cooperative Banking Association (ICBA), Poland, visited the city today to study the functioning of cooperative banking.
The visit was part of its programme to observe developmental activities of cooperative banks in the Asia Pacific region.
The team was accompanied by ICBA Regional President B S Vishwanathan.
The delegates were led by Union of Cooperative Banking, Poland, President Eugeniuza Laszkiewigz.
The delegates also visited the world famous Mysore Palace, Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary and other tourist spots. Later they left for Sri Lanka to attend the international symposium on ''Cooperative Governance'' to be held Feberuary 25 and 26.
