Perks proposed for police personnel in Mathura security
Mathura, Feb 22 (UNI) The Standing Committee on Security at Srikrishna Janmasthan here has proposed 30 per cent additional allowance for security personnel deployed at the disputed complex.
Addressing a press conference here after reviewing the security arrangements at the sensitive complex today Additional Director General (Security) of Uttar Pradesh Police, R K Bhatia said the Committee has sent a proposal for providing 30 per cent addditional allowance to the personnel on security duty at the complex.
Mr Bhatia further said the Committee has also proposed the construction of an additional watch tower at the complex for streamlining the security infrastructure at the sensitive area. This proposal was likely to secure the government nod within the next fortnight, he added.
He also stressed on better coordination between the police, PAC and central forces personnel deployed at the complex to avert any eventuality arising out of confusion.
