One lakh motor insurance policies under Maruti Insurance

Chennai, Feb 24 (UNI) Maruti Insurance and Royal Sundaram Alliance Insurance today completed one lakh motor insurance policies under Maruti Insurance in the country.

Maruti Insurance had already registered over two million car insurance policies with its four alliance partners and with Royal Insurance, one of its partners, the one lakh policy mark was achieved in a record time of ten months, a company release here said.

Royal Sundaram and Maruti agreement was initiated in July 2004.

The company had achieved the landmark in motor insurance policies sold across 80 Maruti dealers in the country, it said.

"Since its inception, Royal Sundaram has recognised partnerships as a key elements in its sales strategy. The partnership with Maruti is aimed at the provision of better customer service," Mr Antony Jacob, Managing Director said.

"We value our partnership with Royal Sundaram and I am happy that we have touched one-lakh customers in a short span of time," Mr Jagadish Khattar, Managing Director, Maruti Udyog said.
