Muslims protest on toon issue in UP

Hardoi, Feb 24 (UNI) Protests against of Prophet Mohammad's cartoons in a Danish newspaper continued in Uttar Pradesh today, with Muslims taking out procession in the Hardoi district.

The minority community, after the Friday prayers, carried out the procession headed by former MLA Khalid Gauri and burnt in effigy US president George W Bush at many places of the district.

Similar protests were also reported from the district headquarters also.
