Bhopal, Feb 24 (UNI) Main Opposition Congress today grilled the BJP Government in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly and later walked out after MoS (Revenue) Narayan Singh Kushwah could not reply to a question.

The trouble began when the Congress MLA Rajesh Patel raised the issue of debt collection of loan amount in Raisen and Betul districts during the Question Hour.

Speaker Ishwar Das Rohani called the Revenue Minister to reply the questions without response. The Speaker called the minister twice again but the situation remained the same drawing howls of protest from the opposition members.

However, when Mr Kushwah rose to reply, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Narottam Mishra and PWD Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya also came forward to lend their support.

Mr Vijayvargiya informed the Assembly that a relative of Revenue Minister, Kamal Patel, had passed away forcing him to remain absent from the House.

Before Mr Vijayvargiya could speak further, the Congress members demanded the question be taken up on another day, as the government was not prepared.

When the Speaker said Mr Vijayvargiya would be giving the reply, the opposition staged a walk out.

Upon returning to their seats, the Congress members sought the same question be taken up attracting rebuke from the Chair, who charged them with adopting double standards.
