Man kills wife, commits suicide

Hubli, Feb 24 (UNI) An enraged husband allegedly hacked his wife to death and committed suicide by hanging, under Alnavar police station limits in Dharwad district, today.

Police said Hanumantappa Kolkar (60) hacked his wife as she opposed his leasing his five-acre land. However, after he realised his action, he committed suicide.
