Lifer to six in Rohtas

Sasaram, Bihar, Feb 23 (UNI) A local court today awarded rigorous life imprisonment to six accused and also ordered them to pay Rs 50,000 each to the relatives of the deceased in a case related to murder committed in 1995.

Additional District and Sessions Judge of Rohatas Bipin Dutta Pathak found the accused guilty of the murder after hearing the arguments of both the prosecution and the accused.

According to the prosecution, the accused were responsible for the murder of Pandey at Samohati village under Dinara police station of Rohtas district on April 4, 1995.
