Lecturer caught taking bribe

Bidar, Feb 23 (UNI) The Lok Ayukta police caught a college lecture red handed while accepting bribe from a student to promote him in the practical examinations at Aurad taluk in the district.

According to a release here today, a Lok Ayukta special team arrested Rehaman Shinde, a physics lecturer, based on a complaint filed by the student, A Bandeppa.

A case had been registered against the accused under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
