Katrina Kaif's belongings stolen in Dubai

Written by: Staff

Dubai, Feb 23 (UNI) Bollywood actors today put local authorities in a tizzy after Katrina Kaif's 60,000 dollar-worth designer watch vanished from her hotel room here.

Sources quoted by The Gulf Today said Katrina's room was burgled on Saturday and the watch -- presented to her by Salman Khan --, a bag and cash worth about 90,000 dollars were found missing while she was away shooting for a film.

Co-star Akshay Kumar, who was staying in the same hotel, joined the actress in searching the entire room.

Later, a case of burglary was registered with Dubai Police, which are investigating the crime.

The hotel is hoping that the footage from the closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras would help solve the crime.

The incident has taken a toll on Akshay Kumar, who was also interrogated as his fingerprints were also found in the room.

He was relieved when Katrina explained that he had come to her room to help her search for the watch and other belongings she had lost.

Meanwhile, unconfirmed reports say that the actress has found the watch in her room and wanted to throw a party for the employees of the posh hotel in a bid to patch up with them, but they rejected the offer.

The Bollywood stars, which also include Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar, are currently shooting for Firoz Nadiadwala's latest film ''Welcome''.
