JBBM takes execption of Wadekar's comments on Ganguly

Ranchi, Feb 22 (UNI) Jharkhand Bangla Bhasa Morcha (JBBM) today took exception to former chairman of selectors' panel Ajit Wadekar's comments on Sourav Ganguly.

The JBBM said if Mr Wadekar did not stop his 'tirade' against Ganguly, it would ban his entry into the state.

JBBM general secretary Jayanto Dey told UNI, ''The JBBM will not allow Wadekar to enter Jharkhand if he continues to issue statements against Ganguly.'' Mr Dey said they had met Ganguly at Dhanbad recently during the Ranji match.

Ganguly had requested them not to 'blow up' the issue of his re-entry into the Indian team and he would again get into the team on merit, Mr Dey added.
