LONDON, Feb 24 (Reuters) IPE Brent and U.S. crude futures leapt on Friday following a report of an explosion and shooting at a Saudi Arabian oil facility.

April Brent rose $1.30 to $61.84 a barrel by 1314 GMT (1844 IST), just off a high of $62.50, while U.S. crude gained REUTERS SD KP1905
