India to host Yemen for AFC Asian cup qualifier on March 1

New Delhi, Feb 23 (UNI) India will take on Yemen in the AFC Asian Cup 2007 qualifying round Group A match to be played at Ambedkar Stadium here on March 1, a Delhi Soccer Association (DSA) release said today.

The renovation work at the stadium was on and the state government would provide medical support for the match, DSA sectretary N K Bhatia said and in the release added that the mandatory dope test would be carried out on the players during the match.

Mr Bhatia also informed that the AFC had nominated four officials -- Mohsen Torkey, Reza Sakhandan, Davoud Rafali Sajedi and Mohsen Ghahremani, all from Iran -- to supervise the match.
