HP introduces new range of colour printers

Bangalore, Feb 22 (UNI) HP India today unveiled a new range of colour laser printing systems and solutions with an eye of growing market for colour pinters in India.

HP which has a 89 per cent share of the colour printer market in India which had reported a sale of 15,434 units in 2004 was keen on encashing the opportunities presented by the Small and medium business which viewed colour printer as a necessity for business needs.

The Indian market was expected to treble over the next four years.

Aiming to catch the emerging market HP today launched threw new colour laser prints offering special features including colour access control.

The Company aimed to expand its business by penetrating into class B and C cities, Mr Vibhar Bansal, HJP India counter Manager for Colour Laserjets in the imaging and printing group told newsmen here today.
