Hosts Kerala beat Andhra Pradesh

Kottayam, Feb 23 (UNI) Hosts Kerala beat Andhra Pradesh (50-31) in the first match in the women's section of the 46th South Zone National Basketball Championship here.

The winners led 34-16 at half time.

Lajitha (10 points) was the top scorer for Kerala while Poornima scored 18 points for Andhra Pradesh.
