Hockey veteran Shahid Noor is dead

Bhopal, Feb 24 (UNI) Former hockey international Shahid Noor, 58, passed away after prolonged kidney ailment here yesterday.

He was buried at the local Jehangirabad graveyard today.

Noor was part of the Indian hockey team at the inaugural World Cup played in Barcelona in 1971 and later shone for Indian Airlines.
