HFI appoints Mohinder as chief coach
Chandigarh, Feb 22 (UNI) The Handball Federation of India (HFI) has appointed Mohinder Pal of Sports Authority of India (SAI) as the chief national coach by the federation.
His appointment was made in the annual general body of the HFI meeting held in Ludhiana recently.
Mohinder Pal, who is also chief handball coach of SAI at the National Institute of Sports, Patiala, has replaced J S Soodan who had resigned in October last year.
Meanwhile, the HFI will hold a coaching camp from March 15 to prepare an Indian team, which will compete in the 3rd South Asian Handball Championship to be held in Lahore from April 17 to 20.
