Halwara record two victories in Western Air Command championship

Chandigarh, Feb 22 (UNI) Halwara area today defeated Rajokari area 10-8 in a closely fought match in the Western Air Command Inter-Area Handball Championship being held at 12 Wing Air Force.

The highlight of the match was a brilliant performance by Rajeet who scored five goals for the winners.

In the morning session today, Halwara outplayed Adampur 13-4. D K Soni topscored for the winners with seven goals. R C Koli performed well for the loser as he struck the target twice.

In yet another fixture, Ambala area handed out a 29-6 drubbing to Sirsa. Ambala virtually owed their triumph to Yadav who pumped in 10 goals. T Prakash netted thrice for the losers.
