Govt denies reports of two persons testing positive of avian flu

New Delhi, Feb 22 (UNI) The government today denied reports appearing in a section of media that two people had tested positive for avian influenza.

The reports were "merely speculative. As of now, i.e. 8.00 pm, there is no case of avian influenza," an official statement said.

It said the twelve people kept in isolation for observation in Navapur were normal.
