Patna, Feb 24 (UNI) The Bihar goverment has cancelled the physical test conducted for the appointment of Sub-Inspectors and Constables following complaints of largescale irregularities and ordered a fresh test for the recruitment of the said police personnel.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said largescale irregularities were detected in the the appointment processs and the government has decided to conduct frest test for recruitment.
He said advertisement issued earlier in this regard had not been quashed and all applicants would be required to appear in the fresh test.
The Chief Minister asserted that the whole appointment process would be completed within four months. Transperancy would be maintained in the selection process and officials responsible for committing irregularities in the earlier test would be punished, he added.
