Five new police stations, 21 outposts in UP
Lucknow, Feb 24 (UNI) In an attempt to put a check on crime in the Ghazipur and Chandauli district, the Uttar Pradesh government has decided to open five new police stations and set up 21 reporting police outposts in the two eastern districts.
Principal Secretary (Home) Alok Sinha said here today that two new police stations will be opened in Revtipur and Nasgar Halt of Ghazipur district, while 10 police outposts will be set up in the same district.
Mr Sinha further said that three new police stations will be opened at Chakarghatta, Illia and Kandwa in Chandaulli district, while the same district will also get 11 new police outposts.
