"First time a commonman's Rail budget," Singh

Ranchi, Feb 24 (UNI) AICC member P.N.Singh today said for the first time a people-friendly Rail budget was placed in Parliament by Railway Minister Lalu Prasad.

Welcoming the budget, Mr Singh stated that the passenger fare was not reduced earlier in any annual budget, but it was Mr Yadav, who had reduced the fare, which would not only help people but the Railway would also be benefited financially, he said.

Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee (JPCC) general secretary Sailesh Sinha also welcomed the Railway budget.
