Mumbai, Feb 22 (UNI) A three-day exhibition to create awareness about heart disease and other lifestyle related disorders would be held at the Nehru Centre here from February 24.

The exhibition will showcase a variety of the latest in drugs, equipment and processes which help to control and treat these diseases.

The event will also house an education gallery, offering elaborate information on heart disease with the help of explanatory visuals in simple language.

Heart disease being a leading cause of death in urban India, the exhibition will focus on all aspects of the ailment and its risk factors such as diabetes, hypertension, obesity, smoking and high cholesterol.

The visitors will also have a chance to interact with some of the leading physicians and cardiologists in the city during the 'question-answer' sessions.

In keeping with a holistic approach towards disease prevention, organisations such as the Art of Living, the Santacruz Yoga Institute and the Divine Life Society, will be conducting demonstrations each day during the event.

Healthy nutrition will also be a focus of the event, with nutritionists at hand to guide the public on heart-healthy eating habits.
