Col Shanmugan BJP fishermen cell all India convenor

Kozhikode, Feb 22 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has appointed Colonel N P Shanmugan as all India convenor of the party's fishermen's cell.

An announcement to this effect had been made by BJP president Rajnath Singh, a party release here today said.

A resident of Vellayil in the district, Col Shanmugan was earlier state president of the fishermen cell and president of ex-servicemen welfare cell as well, the release added.
