City is free zone for implementation of G.O 610: MLA
Hyderabad, Febv 23 (UNI) Maintaining that Hyderabad was a ''free zone'' for implementation of the Government Order 610, Senior Congress leader from Coastal Andhra G Venkat Reddy-MLA, today offered to quit if he was proved wrong.
Joining issue with the CPI(M) floor leader N Narasimaiah, Mr Reddy said Hyderabad had not not been included in the Presidential order relating to job protection enjoyed by people belonging to Telangana region. ''I am ready to resign if I am proved wrong'', he asserted, talking to mediapersons on the Assembly lobby.
Later, the Speaker diassallowed the adjournment motion given notice of by CPI and CPI(M).
Meanwhile, employees from Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra facing the threat of repatriation from Telangana, urged the Government to treat the state capital as free zone.
