Businessman looted of Rs 50 lakh

Mumbai, Feb 22 (UNI) A businessman was looted of Rs 50 lakh in cash by five unidentified robbers who intercepted his car at Sir P M Road here, police said today.

Police said Kamlesh Kumar, owner of Marland Marine Service, was travelling in his car along with his driver, when another car intercepted them near the LIC office this evening. Five armed miscreants were inside the second car, police said.

The robbers then flung chilli powder at them and fled with the satchel of money, police added.
