Bonanza for Rajdhani rail passengers
New Delhi, Feb 24 (UNI) Railway Minister Lalu Yadav today announced an bonanza for Rajdhani passengers slashing per ticket price ranging from Rs 111 to Rs 1598 in the AC first class category and by a range of Rs 110 and Rs 292 in the AC two tier class.
For instance the Rajdhani journey to Mumbai will be cheaper by approximately Rs 680 in AC first class and Rs 190 for AC two tier.
By slashing prices in Rajdhani the Railway minister is roping in middle class passengers who had shifted fast to the low cost airlines.
For the short distance traveler (upto 100 Km) the fare as been reduced by Rs 110. This would mean the journey to Agra will cost less by as much as Rs 76 in AC two tier and make a big difference of Rs 276 for those travelling business class.
