Bhopal, Feb 23 (UNI) BJP MLA and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Uma Bharti's supporter Gaurishankar Shejwar today put the government in the dock in the assembly over the closure of file relating to a murder case.
Mr Jagganath Singh (BJP) today raised the issue of closing of file in the murder of person on August 2004 after investigation for a year during the Question Hour Minister of State for Home Nagendra Singh contended that no clue regarding the accused could be found during the investigation.
Amidt protest from members of the House, the minister announced to reopen the case.
Taking an aggressive stance, Dr Shejwar alleged that officials responsible for closing the file have acted negligently.
Dr Shejwar received support from other members besides opposition members.
As Speaker Ishwar Das Rohani tried to pacify the members, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said the case will be investigated again.
Opposition members demanded action against those who closed the file.
The Speaker directed action to be taken on the basis of statement by the deceased's brother and the accused be tracked down.
