Bihar announces special package for regional films
Patna, Feb 23 (UNI) The Bihar government today announced that no entertainment tax would be imposed on regional films while a special package for promotion of such films was under consideration of the government.
Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi told newspersons here that the decision had been taken to promote film production in the state.
He said special facilities would be given to the films which would be produced here, nating that films were in great demand outside the state also and even a cinema hall in Mumbai screens Bhojpuri film for the whole year.
Mr Modi also announced that no entertainment tax would be charged on the feature film on Baba Saheb Ambedkar.
