Bharti Teletech launches DTH digital set top box

Mumbai, Feb 24 (UNI) Fixed line phones manufacturer Bharti Teletech has launched its direct-to-home (DTH) digital set top box in the domestic market under the brand name - Beetel.

It is priced at Rs 2,095, a release issued here today said.

The Beetel set top box is feature-loaded, provides facilities of multi-language support, lightning arrestor, in-built stabiliser, digital picture quality, zoom picture facility and channel editing functions.

Besides, it also has the ability to withstand high-voltage fluctuations and can also be run on batteries.

SD 98 also possesses the capacity to store upto 5,000 channels and provides for automatically searching a newly-added transponder and is equipped with user-programmable satellite and transponder information, the release added.
