Bharti launches Airtel's broadband
New Delhi, Feb 23 (UNI) Bharti Tele-Ventures Ltd today launched Airtel's fixed line broadband and telephone services in Meerut, bringing it in line with Ghaziabad, Noida, Agra and Lucknow which already have the services.
Bharti North Circle CEO Rohtash Mal, while announcing the launch said, ''Meerut has huge potential for economic and social development and Airtel will aim to become a catalyst for facilitating business, educational and cultural exchanges.'' Value-added services like roaming on landline, Hello Tunes, Three Party Conference, Parallel Ringing and Wiring, will be available to customers.
The entire Airtel broadband network is 'Triple Play' ready, allowing simultaneous transmission of voice, data, and voice on the same line.
As a part of the launch, Airtel is offering a ''Five Star'' scheme to its customers in Meerut till March 31, which is available only for Talk Plan starting Rs 499.
The Airtel network is present in over 50 cities including Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Haryana and Delhi.
