Aurobindo gets USFDA nod for Lisinopril tabs

Mumbai, Feb 24 (UNI) Aurobindo Pharma has recieved approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for Lisinopril tablets of 2.5, 5, 10, 20, 30 and 40 mg.

Lisinopril is an angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor.

''ACE inhibitors are used for controlling blood pressure, treating heart failure and preventing kidney damage in people with hypertension or diabetes. They also benefit patients who have had heart attacks,'' a release issued by Aurobindo to the BSE today said.
