90 samples proved negative: Anbumani
New Delhi, Feb 22 (UNI) Health Minister Anbumani Ramadoss today said that 90 out of the total 95 samples sent to the National Institute of Communicable Diseases have proved to be negative.
However, confirmatory tests were going on for the remaining five samples. The test result will come up by tomorrow afternoon.
Meanwhile, all the 95 patients, suffering from upper respiratory infection, are under observation in the hospital.
''They have been provided Tamiflu as a precautionary measure and their condition is stable,'' the Minister said in response to a question regarding spread of H5N1 from birds to humans.
