3 sitting judges in advisory panel for Goondas Act in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram, Feb 23 (UNI) Three sitting judges of the Kerala High Court will form the three-member Advisory Board for the effective implementation of the Goondas Act in the state, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said today.

Talking to newspersons here after a meeting of the state Cabinet, the Chief Minister said the Union Law Ministry had cleared the names of three judges for the panel.

He said Justice M Ramachandran would be the chairman of the advisory board, while Justice Kurian Joseph and Justic P R Raman would be its members.

The Chief Minister made it clear that utmost care would be given to ensure that the Act was not misused in any manner.
