‘Vikasita Keralam’: BJP Promises AIIMS, Free Water | BJP’s Manifesto For Keralam Election 2026
battle for Keralam 2026 is heating up — and this time, it’s not just politics, it’s about everyday survival. The BJP’s manifesto pitches a bold vision called “Vikasita Keralam,” focusing on reducing daily financial stress for households. At the heart of the plan is the Bhakshya Arogya Suraksha Card, offering ₹2,500 per month to women for essentials like food and healthcare — putting financial control directly in their hands. Healthcare takes centre stage with a promise to expand Ayushman Bharat for all and build an AIIMS in the state, aiming to prevent medical emergencies from becoming financial disasters. To tackle rising living costs, the manifesto proposes electricity support, up to 20,000 litres of free water per household, and two free LPG cylinders annually during festivals. There’s also a strong social security push — ₹3,000 monthly pensions for poor women, widows, and senior citizens. On the development front, the plan includes a high-speed rail corridor from Thiruvananthapuram to Kannur and major infrastructure upgrades. The manifesto also touches sensitive issues like temple gove ance reforms and a proposed CBI probe into the Sabarimala gold theft case. With welfare, development, and gove ance combined, the big question remains — will this vision connect with Keralam voters on election day?
