Iran-Backed Houthis HIJACK UAE-Linked Oil Tanker? Masked Men SEIZE M/T Eureka | CHILLING Attack
An oil tanker has just been hijacked off the coast of Yemen — boarded by armed men — and is currently being steered toward Somali waters as we speak. Yemen's coast guard is tracking it. No group has claimed responsibility. And the crew's fate is unknown. The vessel is the M/T Eureka — a small oil products tanker, Togo-flagged, owned by a UAE-based shipping company out of Sharjah. According to Yemen's coast guard, unidentified armed men boarded the tanker off the coast of Shabwa province on May 2nd, seized control of the vessel, and began steering it toward the Gulf of Aden — in the direction of Somali waters. The tanker had departed Fujairah in the UAE about eight days prior and was anchored near Al Mukalla on Yemen's coast just two days before the boarding. Routine stop. Then — gone.
