Reports say “Israeli defenses are in shambles” after a fifth Iranian missile barrage forced people in northe Israel to scramble for safety. On March 15, northe Haifa and nearby towns across northe Israel were hit by repeated air raid alerts. Sirens sounded in several locations as missiles were launched from Iran and rocket fire reportedly came from Lebanon, where Hezbollah operates. Some reports say multiple missile waves—up to five or six barrages within hours—were detected ove ight. Residents rushed to shelters as defense systems attempted to intercept the incoming threats. Israel relies on a multi-layered missile defense network that includes: Iron Dome for short-range rockets, David's Sling for medium-range threats, Arrow missile defense system for ballistic missiles
