Indonesia Bus Accident BREAKING: 16 Killed As Passenger Bus Collides With Fuel Tanker on Highway

A devastating highway tragedy in Indonesia has claimed at least 16 lives after a passenger bus collided head-on with a fuel tanker on the Trans-Sumatra Highway in South Sumatra province. The crash happened Wednesday afte oon in Karang Jaya district, North Musi Rawas Regency, around 12:39 p.m. local time. According to disaster management officials, 14 passengers aboard the intercity bus and two tanker crew members were killed instantly. The impact triggered a massive explosion and fire, as the tanker was reportedly carrying diesel fuel, engulfing both vehicles in flames. Authorities say a suspected tyre burst may have caused the bus driver to lose control before the fatal collision. Four people survived the crash, with three suffering severe bu injuries and receiving hospital treatment. Disturbing television footage from the scene showed charred wreckage and emergency crews battling the blaze. Officials have launched an investigation into the deadly accident.
