IAF AN-32 Crashes in Assam: Five Killed, 1 Injured As IAF Plane Went Down During Landing In Assam
A tragic Indian Air Force AN-32 crash at Jorhat Airbase in Assam has claimed the lives of five service personnel during landing operations. The aircraft, belonging to the IAF’s 43 Squadron, was carrying cargo when it went down near Rowriah Air Station. The Air Force identified the deceased, including Squadron Leader Prashant Singh, and confirmed that the co-pilot survived and is receiving medical treatment. Senior IAF officials rushed to the scene as emergency response efforts began. The airbase was sealed off following the accident, and a Court of Inquiry has been ordered to determine the exact cause of the crash.
