Khamenei’s FINAL Farewell Begins VIDEO: Iran Readies 6-Day Funeral As Millions Flood Tehran
Iran is preparing for what officials describe as one of the largest state funerals in the country's history as ceremonies for Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei begin on July 4. Iranian authorities say millions of mou ers are expected to participate in six days of nationwide processions, with representatives from more than 90 countries reportedly attending. According to Iranian state media, high-level delegations from Russia, China, Pakistan, India and several other nations are expected, while security has been significantly tightened across Tehran and other key cities. The funeral ceremonies will begin with public viewing at Tehran's Grand Mosalla before continuing through Qom, Najaf, Karbala and concluding at the Imam Reza Shrine in Mashhad. Iranian officials say the event is intended to demonstrate national unity, continuity of leadership and inte ational support following the recent conflict.
