The current temple complex was constructed in 1981, with the inaugural Amman Kudai Vizha held on 9 November 1981. This annual festival continues to be celebrated every year during the Tamil month of Aippasi on the day of the Revathi Nakshatra. The temple complex comprises three main buildings: the renovated Nagaramman temple, the Amman Temple built in 1981, and the Shiva Maadan Temple, which houses the deity Boothathan. The temple is currently maintained by the Elur Chetty community.
