PV Sindhu's Engagement Photo Takes The Internet by Storm
India's celebrated badminton player, PV Sindhu, recently announced her engagement to Venkata Datta Sai, a tech mogul from Hyderabad. The announcement was made via a social media post that quickly captured the public's attention. The post featured the couple with rings on their fingers, laughing joyously together, underlining the happiness of the occasion.
This engagement has sparked a buzz across social media platforms, with fans and well-wishers flooding the post with congratulatory messages. The photo of Sindhu and Datta Sai, adorned with engagement rings and sharing a moment of laughter, has been widely shared, becoming a viral sensation.

Datta Sai, the man soon to be Sindhu's husband, holds the position of Executive Director at Posidex Technologies. He is not only recognized for his executive role but also boasts an impressive academic background. Datta Sai's educational journey includes a Diploma in Liberal Arts and Sciences from the Foundation of Liberal and Management Education, followed by a BBA in Accounting and Finance from Flame University. He further enhanced his expertise with a Master's degree in Data Science and Machine Learning from the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore.
The couple's wedding is slated for December 22 in Udaipur, with celebratory events kicking off on December 20. Additionally, a reception is planned in Hyderabad to mark the joyous occasion. The timeline for the wedding and subsequent festivities has been carefully chosen, as Sindhu's father, PV Ramana, explained. The decision was influenced by Sindhu's demanding schedule, which ramps up in January. This window in December emerged as the ideal opportunity for the families to celebrate the union.
Ramana shared, "The two families knew each other but it was only a month ago that everything was finalised. This was the only possible window as her schedule will be hectic from January." He further elaborated on the significance of the chosen dates for the wedding and reception, emphasizing the importance of the upcoming season for Sindhu. Post-wedding, Sindhu is expected to dive back into training for the challenges that lie ahead in her career.
Venkata Datta Sai has also made notable contributions outside of his tech career. His involvement with the Indian Premier League (IPL) team, Delhi Capitals, showcases his diverse skill set. He has worked with JSW as a summer intern and served as an in-house consultant, during which he managed the JSW-owned Delhi Capitals.
As the couple prepares for their December wedding, the excitement within the badminton community and among their fans is palpable. Sindhu's father's insights into the wedding plans and the couple's future underscore the thoughtfulness behind the timing of their union. With a life-altering event on the horizon, Sindhu is poised to enter a new chapter both in her personal life and her professional journey as she gears up for the season ahead.
