India's Neeraj Chopra Storms Into Paris Olympics Javelin Final With Season Best 89.34m Throw
Indian star Neeraj Chopra once again made the nation proud, as he threw the season's best 89.34m javelin throw to enter the finals at the Paris Olympics. The beginning is much like the Tokyo Olympics and now fans are hoping for a similar "Gold" result from Neeraj Chopra.
In the qualification round, Julian Weber of Germany topped the chart with an 87.76m throw but then in group B games, Neeraj Chopra took a leapfrog with an 89.34m throw, which made everyone at Paris Games feel his presence.

Today's throw at the Paris Olympics 2024 was Neeraj Chopra's career's second. His best performance came at the World Championships in 2022, when he threw the javelin at a distance of 89.94m.
On the other side, arch-rival Pakistan's Arshad Nadeem, 2023 World Championship silver medal winner, has also qualified. He made a throw of 86.59m.
Though, Neeraj Chopra is capable enough to beat any opponent but Pakistan's Arshad can be the biggest hurdle in his way as he is the only active Asian to have thrown in excess of 90m.
The Javelin finals will be played on August 8.
