In other news, Mahendra Singh Dhoni filed a criminal complaint against his ex-business associates who had promised to open cricket academies across the countries. MS Dhoni accused Mihir Diwakar and Soumya Vishwas from Aarka Sports and Management Limited of breaching a contract of ₹15 crore. The complaint has been lodged in a Ranchi court.
Reportedly, in 2017, Mr. Diwakar agreed with Mr. Dhoni to establish cricket academies bearing the cricketer's name, both in India and overseas. However, he purportedly failed to adhere to the terms specified in the agreement, as per the complaint.
